« on: June 25, 2009, 21:07:12 »
Hello people there, I'm here bringing some good news!

Well, maybe not news, or rather not even good, but here I present you a simple mix I just did, called Time to sleep. It's simply relaxing music for you to sleep did I said relaxing? oh well, not all of it...

May make more mixes in the upcoming future...

Don't forget: Time to sleep

I know that Blender renders video, but it edits it as well? :O

I'll look into a few of those programs you listed there, maybe I'll find one that suits me :3

Ok, I made some tests with the recording/playback settings and, as of now, it works good. But! I'd like to edit the video (the real time one) as soon as I'm finished. Are you sure that there aren't any free, good (or at least decent/standard) video editing programs different that Windows Movie Maker? I can see how editing the video may be better than adjusting the settings before I start recording.

Hi people, this is me again!

Spoiler: offtopic stuff (click to show/hide)

Ok, I decided that for my next "art piece" of digital art I'll record myself while doing it. On this part I'm ok, I have camstudio installed and it works, but the thing now is that as soon as I'm done recording I want it to "speed up" when I play it, I mean, I want it to look as in fast forward, not the regular speed. How do I do this?

I was thinking that I could make it record 1 frame every second, so that would make 60 frames per minute, meaning 2 seconds for every minute while in "playback", but I'm not really sure if this would work. So, do you think that maybe I could edit this out somehow later, and if so, how? What programs could I use?

And we have a winner!
Soron's image was one of the kind of images I wanted to see. Razzorman's was nice but that's something just way too earthy and Elder's one is just too bad looking, sorry :/

Soron's turn

Impossible as in something you normally don't see on Earth, and realistic in the sense that it looks as if it's something you can see in real life X-P

Ya got me?

Creativity Support / Re: Converting mod/mid to mp3
« on: March 10, 2009, 14:47:17 »
I tried that already, and followed the walkthrough (already had the LAME codec installed).  However when I try to save as mp3 it gives me an error starting with "Can't start encoder" along with some other gibberish.  Any idea what the problem could be?

Be sure that the lame.dll and lame.exe (or any other codec) are on the same folder as XMPlay, also be sure to write the files on an existing folder on your disk, XMPlay can't create new folders (and that's one of the few problems I've ever had...). The default settings should be fine, it will create high-quality VBR MP3 files! C)p

You can also use XMPlay to convert "anything" into .WAV .MP3 or .OGG with the right codecs, and the right customization, of course... there's info and instructions on the support site, here :O

Besides Juni, I guess that there must be 3 other Knytts, that way it will feel more RPG-ish and have more space for story, dialogs (if any), etc. etc.

Hi people! as a fresh start in this new forum (and as a distraction over the Night Game news we just received), I'd like to know how modify the overall look of my Windows XP PC now that I've seen such cool desktops here.

So, I've no idea on this, where should I start?
