Development Showcase / [Mini Album]

Hello forum,

it has been over 14 years since I posted music here.
I can't believe this forum still exists and even my account is still working. This feels good.

Here is my latest project:

https://julianwinter.bandcamp.com/album/summer-break
(It's also available on spotify, soundcloud and a lot of other streaming plattforms.)

Leisure-B and I were all over our available instruments, not leaving anything in the studio untouched. We could not even come with a proper categorization.
Please listen especially to the song "Fool's Gold". This is a collaboration with New York rapper Tommy Danger. He gives a serious note about the ins and outs of the modern music industry.

That's all. Thanks for your attention. Please tell me what you think and ...

have a great weekend

Julian

Hey You all!
You sniffing nifflas-fans. Long time no see.  8D

I am back again to bestow my new music upon the wonderful indie-scene.
We released our new online adventure game "Alchemia".
I made the soundtrack.
The scenery is set in some night forests and a lot of caves and dens. So you can expect some suitable instruments/sounds/noise.
I used for example all kinds of wood, sticks, stones, drops of water, dishes, cans, tunnels for the percussion.
Further, you can sound out acoustic guitars, clarinets, ukulele, bass...
Only few VSTis. But it's made with the good old modplug tracker.
There are many things to discover. I promise.
Enjoy the game and the music for free!

Download the music here directly: http://www.iimusic.net/plus/2009/09/rock-art-ep
Visit my website here: http://www.julianwinter.de/ (more info, contact, facebook link,...)

And most important: Post feedback! Tell me your opinion! Recommend me! Let's talk!

Tsk Tsk, Kaneel.
:D

Purple Pineapple, he just wants all to mention the netlabel (petite & jolie). That's all.

Didriking, you may post links to the release on your blog of course.
Click here, if you want further information!

Kaneel, what about sonicsquirrel?

Purple Pineapple, it's sad that you don't know what to do on archive, because if You don't know, then others won't know either!
I have to find some other solutions.

Thank YOU ALL for writing comments! I love that!
Especially you, 'Well' for giving my music to Your friends!

Yes, I've put it on MODPlug.

Thank you all for your posivite replies so far.
If somebody still can't download it, let me know. I might find a second server then.
The archive server was also slow while I was downloading for a test.

Haha. Earthbound, that's a good idea. I think some tracks have a nice bass.
We use to drive to good skateparks by car.
And a friend, who owns the car, always plays new or interesting music to us. This guy has some incredible equipment for his power sound. I always wonder why the car-doors don't fall apart.

Development Showcase / "L'art pour l'art" Toy-Folk?!
« on: May 12, 2009, 22:50:45 »

Finally, my EP is out!
Toy-Folk. That's the genre!  X-P

It's a mixture of real instruments, multi-lingual spoken words, ambient and rhythms.
But it's still made with the good old Modplug Tracker.
I spend an entire year, making this. I recorded noises, instruments, ambient, and vocals!

Now I want to present the entire world wide web with it!
My compensation will be the feedback from the audience. Hopefully.

Download everything here: http://www.petitejolie.com/releases/006/

Most important: Tell me what you think!
And if you like it: Show it to all your friends!

Hey Nifforumers,

I think it's been almost one entire year since I published stuff here. I recognized that many things have changed here.
(Also because of this big crash.)
It's always worth posting one's work here at this forum, because I got to know some interesting guys here.

So now, it's time to showcase some music development.
During the last year, I've been working on:

The Frank Hill Ensemble
This is an worldwide collaboration of 4 musicians from different countries.
I took part in this project and made some tracks for this album.
(I made "Rock Terrine" for example.)
Links: myspace, amazon, anelect

Alchemia
This will be the new Haluz! I made the soundtrack.
That's all.
Everything has not been released yet. But hey... I had such a nice time here at the forums,
so I decide to give you a really short and exclusive taste of this new music: link (Please comment on this!  X))

L'art pour l'art EP
This is my new EP. I finished it last year
and I'm going to release it on a netlabel for free withing the next weeks I hope.

8D I've just watched it...

Awesome!! It was my first time seeing Nifflas live.

But I imagined him being more calm.
I think he is quite nervous, bashful and a bit hyper there.
On the other hand, he is something like an ingenious crazy scientist!

Very interesting.
