How do I make a flash game?
My unlce said he would give me a big amount of money if I could do it. So I have to do it!
-
Step 1: Get Adobe Flash. I hope you have $700 on hand. (unless you plan on using the 30 day demo)
Step 2: Learn to program in Actionscript.
Step 3: Profit! (or at least get said money)
-
I suggest, next to the 3 steps Pick Yer Poison provided, to also buy a book about flash programming/designing.
Creating a game in flash is a bad thing to do if you haven't learned a bit of game design and how flash works. Failing to do so will ensure that you create a bad game. I'm sure your uncle only wants to pay big money for games that are actually fun to play (can sell)

No, he just wanted me to make a game, he o? say anything about the quality.
But anyway, I don't have 700 freaking dollars on me. Does someone know a place where I can download it for free? 700 is way to much to charge for a program, what the fuck is their problem?
But, does the 30 day demo have everything the real version have? If it does I can go with that.

Point a ) If we went by that principle, every game out there would be crud simply because nobody ever specifically said they wanted a good game. It's implied.
Point b ) While I agree that $700 is (way) too much, downloading it for free is pirating and thus illegal.
Point c ) Yes, the demo does have all the features of the full version. I recommend you learn at least the basics of Actionscript first, though, so that you can make the most of those 30 days.

Seems more like a bet to me than someone honestly wanting a good game to play. In this case, quality doesn't seem very important.

Could you not borrow the money from your uncle beforehand, use it to buy Flash, and then pay him back with a game?

If the trial runs out, then uninstall, reinstall.

Uh, no.
Salmoneous: Does it have to be a flash game?

That would normally be a good idea, but it doesn't work with Flash. It keeps track of the time remaining on your system somehow, and even if you reinstall, the trial just stays at 0 days left.

{bad Idea} couldn't you just change the date on your computer?{Bad idea}

I tried that. It doesn't work. <_<

Regedit, anyone?
But seriously that would be pretty antimoral and even illegal

Believe it or not, I've tried that. It didn't work either.

There are a lot of ways that shareware software stores how much time is left - and a lot of ways to distort/remove that storage. Still illegal, though.
But guess what? You don't need to buy or pirate Flash to make Flash games.
See this (http://prototyprally.com/making-games-in-actionscript-3-using-flashdevelop-part-1-the-setup/). (And the (http://prototyprally.com/making-games-in-actionscript-3-using-flashdevelop-part-2-the-beginning/) rest (http://prototyprally.com/mgas3fd-3-getting-on-with-it/) of (http://prototyprally.com/mgas3fd-4-more-embedding/) it (http://prototyprally.com/mgas3fd-5-enter-the-frame/).)

You can also use a open source flash alternative like
LiveSwif openlaslo and open office impress is apparently able to export flash, but only as a presentation.
