Title: Unable to add the intro cutscene back after its gone.
Post by: syeager on August 12, 2010, 04:02:31
Apparently my intro cutscene was randomly deleted and I can't add the intro back in for some stupid reason. What's going on? I'm kinda stuck here.

Can you provide more info?

Like, which steps are you trying to do?

Can you give us a list of the files that are present in the data\cutscenes directory?

Does it happen in other levels (say, a new one?)

Can you somehow remove it and add it again? (say, manually using a filemanager)

Well I do have the intro file in the file for my level but it says it's empty and I can't add it in again for some reason. To try to add it I'm trying to type in "Intro" then selecting new but it does nothing. It happened on my newest level that I'm working on.

And you have an empty file in your cutscene directory right? Have you tried removing that file?

I'm sorry but I don't understand your last sentence. What exactly do you mean with that empty file?

If there is a folder named "Intro" in your level folder, it must have "Scene1.png" in it at least. If it is empty you will not be able to see the cutscene listed in the 3rd Party Tool. You will not be able to add it.

You can put a "Scene1.png" file in the "Intro" folder manually, or you can delete the "Intro" folder manually. Then you can use the 3rd Party Tools normally.
