i thought it was dropping a semiquaver every 4 bars but i wasn't sure xD but yea, if you could send the file that'd be awesome ;D

also, i had a look at synplant, and its an awesome synth; hopefully having installed it opening your song should work perfectly

really good tune, i love the atmosphere it makes :D just really sounds like it should break into some heavier drum pattern. might i have a go at extending the track myself? i havn't done anything musical for quite some time mainly due to lack of inspiration so it'd be great if i could :3

Development Showcase / Drum und Face

Here is my first real attempt at making drum and bass, i've used flstudio, alot of massive some toxic biohazard for the synths, and a load of plugins, mainly equalizers though i have used the occasional distortion plugin (mainly sausage fattener).
Criticisms would be very helpful and i would love name suggestions for at the moment it is just an incredibly vague description for identification purposes.
Hope you enjoy ;D

(As far as my other tracks go, loltrance is just another attempt to create a particular genre, in this case hardstyle trance; the rest of them are crap though so i wouldn't bother listening to them xD)

i'd try adding some reverb or summat to the drums cos they sound a little stark and maybe change the beats here and there for  variation  :^^:

awesome. just saying this again, i love your music so much and really don't know how aren't 'very pleasant to listen for a long period' ive listened to volac for hours on end ;D

Edit: i went and got nifflas's sample pack and had a go at making summat, feedback would be great as i've never really made anything like this before http://soundcloud.com/ikazudaswhale/herds i also used flstudio, various vengeance drum samples and one of the pianos that comes with flstudio (of course the bells are from nifflas) hope you like it :D

as game ambiance, these sound very good, if i were a game maker i certainly wouldn't hesitate to include these. as music they lack movement, and whilst containing some really nice tunes i think some of them just need developing, other than that, great work  :^^:

also, as far as things that couldnt actually grow in the places the creatures live, surely that is better? if the currency used could just grow anywhere then would you not just be able to grow or steal all your money from the ground?
if the currency was a certain type of flower, wouldnt the point be that the banking system would be the only one who can grow/ create money? or have i really got the wrong end of the stick here :S

nuts and bolts? then higher valued ones in more valuable metal like gold, platinum etc.
this sprang to mind because i like the feel of chunks of metal, its strangely satisfying to roll them around in your hand
i also want mushrooms
