Lol about the bread slices...  Another thing, how on earth do you get to the last door in the first are in area 5? Have tried so many variations of bombs, bread slices and nukes, but still really stuck!

I had the same problem. I think your space bar is stuck.

NightSky / Re: NightSky has been *blatantly* cloned for the iPhone
« on: April 06, 2010, 04:57:38 »
It's hard to accuse Trundle of being a blatant clone of NightSky, considering that most of us haven't played NightSky. If NightSky had been released prior to Trundle, I could see the clone case being made then.

If Trundle turns out to be an almost exact clone of NightSky, then I would actually consider playing it; it's the closest I'm going to get towards playing NightSky, which nifflas apparently isn't permitted to give us any details (like release date) about, but doesn't sound like it's coming out soon.
I have to agree with this. As of right now, I'm beginning to doubt I'll ever get NightSky because of how long it's been since we even got a clue as to what was going on.

If someone ripped off Duke Nuke 'Em Forever I doubt anyone would be against it since the game it ripped off is never coming out.

Super Mario Bros. 2 meets Knytt? I'd love to beta test that!

My best (only) level is Cube.

Saira / Re: Possible to transfer non-Steam version to Steam?
« on: March 26, 2010, 01:53:01 »
Probably not how your wanting. You can click "Add non-steam game" but all this will do is load a shortcut to you list of Steam Games. Other than that, no.

Yo, Sony, I'm disappointed in you and all, but, I gotta say, Disney Channel is the greatest fail of all time. Of all time.

But Sony's a close second. See, this is why I hate YouTube. BUT you can put this in your comments to make Sony unable to screw with your video.

Oh, so naive! You actually think Youtube cares about fair use.  C)

I take it you have never heard of That Guy With the Glasses?

Perhaps you downloaded a corrupted file. Have you tried redownloading it? If you downloaded the portable did you remember to extract it? Other than that it may be that you don't have a good enough graphics card.

Saira / Re: Saira for Best Game of 2009!
« on: January 25, 2010, 00:10:49 »
I'm just going to say, I actually agree with their choice. Don't get me wrong, Saira is a wonderful game and well worth the money but it wasn't all that ground breaking. Spelunky, on the other hand, is truly unique, being one of very few games with infinite replay value, while Braid takes advantage of clever time manipulation techniques.

Saira / Re: Doing my first Let's Play, selected Saira
« on: December 30, 2009, 18:25:23 »
You may want to speak up in it. Your voice is way too soft. Also, I'm not sure if playing blind is the best idea. The purpose of a Let's Play is to show the viewer how they can beat it. This could be difficult if you don't know what your doing.

Also, when you do something, you should tell the viewer what you're doing.  It doesn't matter that your solving puzzles left and right if you don't explain what you're doing in the puzzle.

Saira - Challenges / Re: Backwards jumping!!

Same thing, just don't teleport. When you start on the left, you don't even need to go left.
Yeah... I don't see the challenge here at all.

Definitly hard...for me anyway but not impossible. I must say I'm not a big fan of multiple bad endings (which so far I've hit two). I find it annoying to get booted out of the level and then have to go back and scroll through my levels to start again. Why not just put a kill spot then next a screen with the same words about how Juni has failed, then click ok and you're back to your last save point? That probably can't be done but anything other than restarting.
You could replace the "Win" tiles with shifts and add cut scenes to them, but there is no way to tell a shift to send the player to their last save.
