Title: GoDaddy?
Post by: Dj Gopher on September 06, 2010, 08:14:58
I created a domain, mooserubber (http://mooserubber.com), and I can't seem to un-park it.
I don't want website tonight, I have heard very bad things about it.
I know what to do once I find the correct page, but I can't find any advice that leads anywhere but website tonight.
My goal is for the actual page to be semi blank and not functional.
It would say 'Moose Rubber' but that's about it.
I would then have either (mooserubber.com/example or example.mooserubber.com)s that have different content..
But I can't seem to find a customization page.
Even with website tonight, it wants me to buy a new domain and won't let me use my existing one...
Advice?

I don't know much about GoDaddy, but there should be basic website hosting that came with the domain (it has ads, however). Is this what you wanted (to have your website on GoDaddy but without the website builder)?
Otherwise, you'll need to buy hosting either through GoDaddy or another hosting provider, and configure the domain to point to that hosting.

I don't want godaddy adds and I want to create my own layout and everything.
I think I found my answer though.. so a new question
I was going to use webstarts to edit my godaddy domain.
Does anyone know if that is a decent price, or know of a better builder?
