« on: November 18, 2009, 03:13:37 »
I want to make a link to my level on my signature.
I also want to put it like those special banners. Look at a clockwork lemons signature. I want to know how to make those.

He's just making a completely useless post in the interest of being "funny."  No need to respond to it.

I assume you're asking two things: how to use BBCode to make a link, and how to use BBCode to display an image.

Both are simple:
Code: [Select]
[url= (website URL goes here) ] (text goes here) [/url]
Code: [Select]
[img] (image URL goes here, make sure it's a direct link)[/img]
Code: [Select]
[url= (website URL goes here) ] [img] (image URL goes here) [/img] [/url](without the spaces)

It's also covered in the tutorial that you didn't read.

I find it strange that you have to ask about this given you've posted images before.

hes talking about userbars. Sabata can make them,(http://nifflas.ni2.se/forum/index.php?topic=45.45)  but you can also make them yourself, here: http://userbarmaker.com/
to hyperlink it to your level, you can put the link of the image in what mimmi said. ;)

It doesn't show anything on safari about that :(

You have once entered a checkbox: remember this action for this filetype.

Try googling for download and filetype and safari.

I've never used safari but maybe this is what you're after.

"You have to go to the preferences and uncheck automatically play safe files. Then download one of the files you want to launc and control lcik on it. Choose the open with dialogue and proceed. "

Those are instructions from some forum on how to specify which application you want to use to open a given filetype but it might let you force a confirmation dialogue each time you start a download

EDIT: If you trust the 3rd-party who wrote the app. then this is probably better;
"You can set the application preferences you want with the 3rd-party preference pane RCDefaultApp:
http://www.rubicode.com/Software/RCDefaultApp/
It works well. "

I've not checked out their site because it's ultimately up to you whether you want to use their application. I don't want to make a reccomendation on using an executable I've not tried myself  ;)
