Joony's village is ravaged by the Storm Lord! Can she even make it to his lair, much less confront the Storm Lord Himself? This is the first level in a trilogy I will be making. there will be several bosses per level, (about 3) and the story shall continue to unfold! I also plan to make custom objects! Here are some screenies. Hope you enjoy!

Looks...intense. :o
-
Especially the first screen.
-
Don't worry, It'll be more than just spikes and lazars X-P
-
What difficulty will it be?

The screens need a little more decorations. :/

No they don't. Not unless it's going to be an environmental level. Atleast the second and third screens look fine.

Just 'cause it's a challenge level doesn't mean it can't look nice. :/ The first level I ever made (that was eventually abandoned) was like this. I remember Goog saying thst it was a good challenge, but there was no "eye candy" to look at.

Yeah, I'm...not sure how to say this delicately, but the graphics look like utter crap. It's obvious no attention was given to the looks of the level at all.
There are a few people here who don't care about how levels look, but the vast majority of us play Knytt not only because it's challenging but because it's beautiful. Therefore, I'd suggest actually putting in some effort and decorating the screens - even if it does take 50 times longer than it does to just slap down some blocks and obstacles, it will make your level 50 times better! :)

Personally, I'm only going to play a level as bland as this if it's a trickjump, which it's obviously not.
Scenery for the epic win.
-
Don't worry, That's just my demented way of making levels. I make the basic level layout first and then make it look nice. There will be better graphics later, I promise.
-
hmm...interesting...
keep graphic...

Well, due to all the constructive criticism (some of which could only loosely be called constructive :moody:) I have decided to give this level a complete makeover, with ten times better graphics.
More screenies coming soon.
EDIT: Here they are!
-
I personally think the castle-type-screenies looked better then these...
-
Well, I didn't take those out, this is just another area.
-
I personally dont mind the castle-looking tileset. However, from the way the rest of the screens look, you're gonna need some decorations.
Notice that all of the tilesets in the editor have scenery in them. Use it.
Also, make sure your levels aren't flat. Outdoor scenes should have hills, cliffs, and all sorts of things that aren't flat. Just don't make them flat for god's sake.
Levels need more than a floor, walls, and objects. Add some background and foreground foliage, decorations, mountains, waterfalls, lakes, etc., and much more non-flatness, and this level will be a lot more interesting. ;)
Good luck.
If you need more tilesets, use these (http://www.gaeel-music.com/public/public.html)

Wow, thanks for all the help StaticRomantic! It won't be flat, that's about the only screen that's flat.
I will fix it though!
-
Well, this looks better! Keep it up!

No its not awsome

What do you mean by that?
Also, almost ready for moar screenies.

You sir, fail at both grammar and criticism.
If you cannot do better, please refrain from EVER trying again.
Have a nice day.
As for the level, I agree that it needs more variation. But that has already been driven into the ground, so I won't push it.
Alas, all I got to say except for that is, I laughed at the name Joony XD

The screens looks boring. Try putting a little more effort into making each screen.
Make some nice backrounds, that is always nice.
-
The spike area does have a background. I think those look fine as is, giving kind of the dull, spooky look.

O_o... Duh?
Anyways, almost done with the castle part of the level. Working on airship next!
