I'm looking to create a sort of vignette overlay, but I'm not even sure if it's possible. Is there a way to do this with custom objects?

No, I'm not dead. My PC was in need of repair and I haven't been able to work on Knytt Stories very much.
I don't actually have the most recent version of this level, but I am still working on it.

An exploration level, with no real challenge.

Is there a way to map the controls to other keys? I us a Dvorak keyboard and WASD is quite awkward with dvorak.

Anyone have a gear tileset I'm allowed to modify? I'm making a creepy-themed level and part of it involves gears (You are in a clock)

Update 3 June 2016 - Remember when I said I was back? Well I am now, for real this time. And I updated my level. It's still not a great level, but at least I fixed the bugs. Looking back at it now... this level really had some problems.




Explorarium

This is the first level I made, originally in 2011. Nearly 5 years later, I finally got around to updating it and fixing some of the bugs.

Explorarium is a maze-like exploraration level created by Rainulous for the short time frame level competition. Its name comes from the words explore and vivarium, meaning explore life.
I consider it to be a normal level, but It may be hard. I will change its difficulty after getting some feedback. There may also be bugs, so please report any, if found.

I have no idea if I'm posting this in the right place, but it's on the niffpage, so...


I found this on the niffpage and I heard about it on other sites so I decided to try it out. Every time I try to start it I get an error. I'll post some details about it later when I am back on my PC. What I really mean to ask is does this actually work? And what exactly does it do that makes it special?

I was wondering if anyone has a Harara mountains tileset that I am free to use. If not I can just make one on my own.

EDIT: It seems like there isn't one included in Knytt Stories by default, so I'm on my own if no one has. I swear there was one...

Only ~20 more screens to go! Just finishing the  secret challenge areas, then the final area and I'll be done.
After this I'm making a large collab exploration level with a few friends.

I am near done with this level, and the longest it should take is a few days. I am in need of testers to know what difficulty it is, and to help with the category. It's mode of a puzzle level, but I'm not sure. Reply here if you want to test, I'm only accepting 5 people. It's a small level, and I don't need to many testers.

Update: I'm about 50-70 percent done with this level. It's smaller than I had planned, but I think that's a good thing. The level would be easy... if I hadn't gotten carried away. There will be normal and hard mode, but those names may change later on. I'm really excited about this level and I can't wait for everyone to play it.
Edit: I will also need some beta testers. Not too many though. I'll let you know when I am accepting testers.

Hello! This isn't really my first level, but it's the first I'm releasing. I'm not doing anything too big with it, so hopefully this one won't get abandoned. ( Just look at my previous posts when I used the name Whistler... oh no, please don't. :P )
This is a simple exploration level which I started making after playing Knytt (again). It's based of the idea of if all you care about is collecting power-ups, you aren't going to see everything the world has to offer. Which is where the name comes in. I decided to choose something very original, and nothing is more original than making up my own word. It's a portmanteau of explore and vivarium. Anyways, screenshots are in the attachments.

Actually, not so new. But it's been so long since I've used this forum. My previous username was Whistler. But I don't use that name anywhere anymore. And this time, I'll actually complete my projects, instead of abandoning them... remember 'The Darkness Project'? I lost files to that level. Anyways, just wanted to say Hello again.
