Is there any information about the game besides the claim on the website that it is a role playing game with unmatched interactivity?

I find the lack of information and the silly claim regarding interactivity rather suspicious, myself. :/

The game is rather atmosphere-based and relies somewhat on going in unprepared- the best example is in the introduction, any screenie would spoil what's ahead. Sorry, I guess this sounds kinda stupid :/

It's best just to try it if you want to see what I mean.

But what about the interactivity claim? This seems a lot like the stunt you attempted for your "WHAT" KS level. :/

*sigh* why don't you just try the game before making assumptions? :(

Because, so far, your presentation is quite suspicious.  I would rather like to know what I am downloading.

Okay, I "played" it. It's rubbish. It just shows numbers and you can make it count up. If this is an attempt at making something wittily pointless like Progress Quest, then I'm sorry, you failed.

Until you click 9997 times ;)

Meh, I dont enjoy this... It is pretty...ummm... Boring.  You should at least have some kind of messages or something, but I agree with Gorf, if you were trying to make something like PQ, you haven't even come close...

*sigh* 1.0 will have a few more secrets and possibly web uploading.

I am amused that you feebly attempt a joke, and then sigh upon receiving criticism you should have expected. 9_9

If you want to be congratulated for your work, at least put some effort into it and make it enjoyable. :|

By the way, Tom Sennett, Procrastinator (http://wherecouldtom.be/games/play/TSP.php) features a score counter similar to that of this game's and an online high-score list.  This game, like Progress Quest, makes a decent joke out of the lack of gameplay, rather than masking it with laudatory claims.

Well...at least he knows how to save and load variables.

Well...at least he knows how to save and load variables.
I still can't figure out the numbers. Is it random? It seems to be...please tell me how A, B, C, and D relate to the number in the box! (I tried random numbers and got weird results, so it must include division and multiplication...)

What are you talking about?

He's talking about the save.ini.

To answer your question: Not random, it's your score gone through various anti-hack mungling.
Using random values or even ones just one higher than the current ones will mess up your score.
For that reason I obviously don't wanna post the algorithm here, but I could PM you if you're very interested.

Not necessarily in a bad way?

At the moment it'll mess up your score pretty much randomly, for better or worse (Not randomly, but it seems so) Next version will have stuff that deletes the file if it's messed up or whatnot. (It will also have progress bars \o/)

As far as I can tell, the algorithm
Spoiler: (click to show/hide)

Based on that ^, nothing happens when you reach 9997. See?

*sigh* you win, yay. And yea, nothing happens at 9997. (incidently this means saves will NOT be compatible with v2, since I will have to change the algo now everyone knows... ah well, it should have been a better one in the first place I guess)

You could try incorporating all the variables into the end result.. or do something cubic, ya know?

Or use hashes?

But seriously, what's the point?

why are you worrying about v2 compatibility? 9_9
it sounds pretty incompatible anyway XD
