Title: [Hard][Challenge] The Storm's Coming

This level has been finished and sitting around for months, actually. I was waiting for the new archive to get finished, but that looks to be a ways off still :/

Publisher's Summary:
When Juni's town is beset by a violent storm that threatens to swallow everything and everyone in it with a massive flood, she knows just what to do. Juni heads off to the lab in the mountains to find out what is amiss and to stop a mysterious evil force whose motives are, as of yet, unknown...

Some of you may remember this from the old forum. A bit of stuff has been added (not much), and most of the custom music has been removed to accommodate the new(ish) rules concerning copyrighted content. I tried to get permission from the copyright holders, but anyone who's tried doing that can probably sympathize with me.

:awsum: This level is like, the best level ever, except for some other levels, but other than that, it's the best level ever.

Now that I think about it my level flood has the exact storyline as this but I didn't know at the time making it. This is a good level, everyone who hasn't played it should download it.

I remember playing this one but I played it again. I wish it was longer! It is great. I hope you consider making the tower levels.

Tower levels!? Oh, goodness, I certainly haven't been working on anything like that! I didn't even think of it! I've been too busy working on Tower of Mani-Chaka :nuts:

So far I like the level very much, but I'm stuck at the very beginning:

I go to the right to look at the storm, then have to go back for my umbrella. When I return to the pit with my umbrella, it is no longer possible to jump over it, and I can't go back either. Is there a tricky jump involved in going back? Because I can't make it :oops:

There's no way to go back to the right. You have to go left instead.

go back right again? i have all the powerups except for the hologram and the eye... but i can't seem to make that long jump back over to the right? did i miss sum place where i was supposed to keep going left? passed the lab?

Finally beat it. A very nice level, and I really liked

the boss. I mean, the guy is seriously... well... serious. Terrific character design.

The only complaint I have is that it was kind of short  :oops:

Nay, someone suggested I put something secret over there once. I started to do something with it, but I couldn't think of anything to put there :sick:

Do you think you could put a download on the current level archive or on some other file uploading website that doesn't have annoying ads, popups, and viruses in the ads and popups? Thanks.

I can't upload levels to the archive because of my bad internet connection, and I already have two download links, and I think that's more than enough. If you don't want to get viruses either don't click on the ads or get an ad blocker.

Remember how you got the high jump? Look for something similar.

This level is great, i remember it from the old forums. It wasn't that hard though (if i can remember it correctly) so im not sure why people are getting stuck... I loved how the water rose as you walked along at the start of the storm, and how time was moving forwards as you proceeded in general. The secret ending with the seaweed was cool. Challenges were well made, too.

That is from when I had another secret ending. It was when I had the silly copout ending rather than an epic battle. For some reason I put the continuation of the conversation with the villain man in a secret area. That's also what the "This secret area is currently out of order" business is all about, if you found that.

2) secret ending, where the monster is killed switch.

Is there any other secrets in the game, and if there is anything to the right of the house?

Hey, thanks for bumping this thread! I'd never seen or played this level before! I found it quite fun... a nice throwback to the simpler days when Knytt Stories. :)

I only saw two main secrets in this level.

• The first is easy to find, to the left of the final tower, and involves the alternate "Seaweed" ending. :P
• The second is difficult, involves jumping up invisible blocks, and is to the right of the tower. It involves an invisible maze. Clever players may find the "Secret area is currently out of order" area you found, as well as a cameo plug by Glorfinhofin for his other level, Flipping Out 8)

There didn't appear to ever be anything special to the right of Juni's house.  :/
