I'm currently working on a Wasteland level(Based on Fallout 3), but all the sound effects and music from Fallout 3 are in .wav format. I could convert all of them, but that would take quite long, And in the long run, .wav support would be useful.

No, because .wavs are ridiculously huge compared with .oggs.
.wav support would encourage people to use .wav, which would jump up the average knytt.bin filesize drastically.
There's probably free batch converters out there, try google.

Using material from fallout is illegal anyway because you'll be violating both the artist right and the copyright.

You can use remixes. :)

You can use remixes. :)
I assume, that if you know how to make a remix, you also know how to convert your wav file.
But then again, I have a feeling it are about soundeffects and speech, not so much about music.

It's for the sound effects and music
-
Yeah, you should not use those files just like that, I think...

There are a ton of free programs that will do batch conversion, including batch conversion from WAV to OGG. Use Google. Really.
However, just stripping the sound/music (or anything else) straight from a commercial game is definitely illegal. And it's rather silly to do that for a KS level!
You can use remixes. :)
Remixing such a song is even more illegal than putting it in a KS level, and putting a remix of such a song in a KS level is about the same level of illegal-ness as putting the song itself. Okay, so that sentence was probably pretty hard to comprehend.
However, I believe this thread is about WAV support, on account of, you know, the thread title. It would be laughably easy to implement, but WAV FILES ARE ENORMOUS; not going to happen.
