nifflas is banned from his own site, google is no longer google... the whole world is upside down

guys, if youre not a mod, dont't ask for the removed posts. show some respect (for nifflas). if it's removed, it's probably something he won't want spread around the forum; i'll trust J's judgement there.
but if nifflas really persists, then he should be able to speak (it is his forum)

LPChip, i will miss you as a mod. hope everything goes well for you.

this game seems awesome, but glitches out (colors keep getting messed up), and does not work on my resolution (1366x768), or any resolution above 1024x768

oh ya its definitely in progress, i was just giving that as an example.
i would start from scratch for a song for your level, not use this one.
unless you want me to modify this for your level, and make it much longer/different. i could do that too.

i'm actually in the middle of recording vocals for it, so ya its structured a bit weird (ex: the strange claps and stuff actually work with the vocals.) it's not meant to be an instrumental piece.
it's a cover of Regina Spektor's "On the Radio", if you want to listen to that song and sing along with this youll find the structure.

but thanks for the tips, ill keep them in mind.

i can also contribute, if you want any more help.
here is a sample of my current project: http://www.box.net/shared/lbdqjsca7x

i use Reason and Ableton, and have samples of virtually all instruments known to mankind.

A beautiful point-and-click adventure by Enu (Akira Noyama). The goal is to collect all 48 pieces of clothing. Solve puzzles, explore a gorgeous, strange and creative hand-drawn world, and uncover the story behind it. Integrated within the world are many other works by Enu, including short films, art, and music.

played it, its a pretty game. my PC is pretty fast, and it runs slow. camera problems abound, its rather hard to control in general. still, its calming and beautiful to play.

i dont really consider "badass" as swearing, but i guess this isnt really an argument about where to draw the line.

i wouldn't be against a filter, although that might just encourage swearing. seems to be the case in other sites. i think most of us here have set a good example for keeping it clean, and i think that's why it's stayed that way for the most part. if veterans keep up a good example, i dont think it'll be a problem

i believe swear words are pointless. swearing either means a lack of better vocabulary or a cheap excuse to look angry, badass, emotional, or "mature", when really it is immature (or both).

think about it. most people swear out of anger, therefore implying thoughtlessness and rashness, or out of a desire to look more "mature" then others.

there are exceptions for swearing, i believe, in poetry and literature, as to make a point or describe a feeling, but seeing as no one here writes their posts as poetry, i really see no cause for swearing.

I'm not the least bit impressed with Fruity Loops.  Reason is awesome though.
I use Propellerheads Reason 4 and Ableton Live 7, and a KORG Microkontroller for a keyboard.
And now that Propellerheads have come out with Record, it does the jobs of both reason and live, so...
Propellerheads Record is my suggestion.  expensive, but worth every penny.

dude, we're pretty much brothers now.
