Title: Green Water
Post by: Vinterrun on May 31, 2009, 14:39:22
Heja together,
for my level Moonjourney I need some green water animation. If it is possible in a tone like this: (http://www.ph-gummi.de/website/img/woum/farben/ocker_gruen.jpg)

It would be great to have 2 Co`s. One with the water itself and one with a transparent waterfall. Would it be possible? I tried my best but... uhm... il dunno

Best Regards
Vinter

Yes, I've seen that. It's transparent though. If you still have the file, maybe you could make an opaque version? I could try my hand at the waterfall, but I'm not a very good animator. However, you could pm Pumpkinbot. He makes some good stuff. I have no idea if he would be willing to make it though.

It's okay if we re-tonize the KS stuff?

I think so, it's open source. Where did you get the animation data?

Just place down the 24 by 24 image, and make it repeat. Then, overlay these two filters I made. Tadaa. Instant waterfall. :D Recouloring the water above should be fairly easy.

heh?

ks reads frames by 24x24 pixels.... make a 24x48 then you have a 2 frame animation

I think all the frames for the water and waterfall objects are default sprites in KE.

From the source, I took the red water in CO form. Unfortunately, there was a pattern on the yellow water so I decided to go through all the calculations to get the templates up there. Then, I realised the dot template wasn't showing up, so I brightened it by 150%. Then, I had to trial and error the animation times. It was a lot of work.

If you just want the color to change, play around with the hue on the original red rain.
