Title: Can't open Knytt Stories

I just got my first PC after a long time with Macs. Running Windows 8. Downloaded the game. When I click on the icon it doesn't open. Maybe my ignorance of PCs....

I have Win 8, now 8.1, and have had no issues. You may have the old issue where virus protection kills the multimedia fusion sub-application. You may need to tell your virus software to play nice with strdt.exe See this topic for greater detail (http://nifflas.lpchip.nl/index.php?topic=4971.0).

Thanks. Uninstalled McAfee and turned on Windows Defender and it works fine.
