I know I am looking like the biggest nitpicker now, but there is one more thing that annoys me a little: Underwater tube.
Aren't you planning to make some tileset with corners for it ?
Also, one part of tube is covered with waterfalls, others are not.
And one more thing - traveling via that tube is horribly boring. Maybe you should add some underwater plants and other stuff.

Now that I look at it closely, it's kind of bothering me too, I'll fix that. And yeah, I agree, will see if I can add some underwater rooms or something to do/look at while using the underwater tube, and maybe shortening it up a tiny bit as well. Thanks for the suggestions, nitpicking is a must with so many screens and such. Like, I must've stared at each screen so many times looking for bugs and am still amazed glitches still pass through, guess you kind of get burnt out after a while xD

Hey guys, it's been a really, REALLY long time!

I was working on the new version of Gaia a few years back, but when my computer got stolen and I lost a lot of progress on it, really lost all will to just start over with the new places. Yesterday, I found a backup I'd made with some new additions and all the dialogue fixes I had made back then. I doubt there'll be any big continuing on with Gaia, but I thought I'd at least release a more polished version. As it stands now, I'm calling it a FINAL version, therefore it has no version number. Basically has:
-Complete revamp of all dialogues, including spelling mistakes and such.
-Some added decoration, backgrounds, etc. in a lot of places
-A couple new places, for example, a small piece what was going to be Cloud continent to at least use the tileset I'd made for it.
-A few other fixes.

Hope you enjoy it, and for any bugs and such, don't hesitate on posting! I've contacted Drakkan to change the thread name but as neither of us is on much, no idea if it'll reach him.

Considering that both of its main creators have left the forum FOREVVAH, I'm afraid expansion of the level is very unlikely.

Hey I do show up once every four months. It is unlikely, however, yeah.

That is a place where another part of the world could theoretically be added in a later version.
Unfortunately, neither Anyndel or Drakkan are active on the new forum, so there probably won't be another version of Gaia for a while, unless someone else decides to take it up.

I think this is quite correct. I'm not that active anymore and it's been a while since I've actually thought of Knytt Stories as a whole, let alone Gaia.
I don't know if a new version of Gaia will come out, though I'm leaning towards no, having in mind Drakkan and I haven't contacted each other in a very long time, and I don't know if he's made any progress on the level. I made some changes and added a few lands, easter eggs, and a small new continent but I wouldn't dare release that, specially not after the hype we created at the time.

I wouldn't mind if someone decides to expand upon it, as that has always been our policy, anyone can add their own stuff if they want to.
