Hrr ... up of about ... more than 4 years already ...  sorry about that.
Someone contacted me on Youtube asking for an up-to-date version of it.
Well, I don't really have one, but since I don't have time to spend on it either, I'm releasing the .mfa of KSO.
Do whatever you want with it, you may have trouble getting Lacewing to work with latests builds, since it was in a really early stage back then. Also, it needs a ton of extensions.

http://xol.io/ksonline , contains the latest .mfa ( 2011-ish ) and an old build of 2010 xmas

Again, sorry for extreme necropost.

Hello ,
I'm Hugobros3 , the original creator of Knytt Stories Online , a simple mod that used to allow you to play KS in multiplayer , the mod was quite apreaciated , but now
it is no more played/devlopped.
It is a bit my fault , I started to play Minecraft , said Goodbye to microsoft (http://debian.org) , created my own Minecraft Server ( with 100 players registered , last bukkit and plugins ... ) , and now KSO is something everyone forgot...
I don't really plan to continue ( mainly beaucause MMF2 got WAY too much basic for me ) it so i'ld like to know if someone is interested by the MFA and the php source code of it ...
I also plan to do some Minecraft-Like project on the DS ( Yeah the nintendo DS , this thing with 4meg of ram ) , but only playable online and Knytt Stories related ( may juni as caracther ? ) during the summer .
That's my second question : are you interested in this ?

In my opinion , MMF2 is better than GM, it has toons of extension (and an c++ SDK !) , HWA , Online gaming easily and you can check ou the KS source with (ks source is really instructive).

Oh my god !
it is GREAT ^^ 2Gb space , I'll will be able to put a lot of stories in this !
(there is not a lot of stories >10 Mb ,  so i could host at least 2Gb / 0.01 Gb >> 200 stories of 10 Mb ! )
And it has an php api.
God it's usefull.

Damn you're right...
My free hosting service told me that I exceeded my aivable bandwidth...  :ohnoes:
We'v just to wait the next month to have the website up again...  :/
KSO will probably need a better hosting with the time... I recently buy an personal nanoserver in occasion for a few euros but i could'nt use it since it haven't an harddrive (it needs an ide 2" 5 , if you got one ... ) if i could make it working i'll use it as a rescue server.
In fact the reason of the surcharge of the out bandwith is that the kso big files are downloaded too many times so they took all the bandwith. Before i got my free webhosting , i did had an online storge service with UNLIMITED bandwith, i'll look on this one to host the biggers files...

I'm really sorry about this terrible delay  :sad:

Yes that's beaucause I lost the sourcecode of the versions 1.1.4.x and I have to retake the work from start, so I forgot some things , changed the way of dialoging betwenn apps...  :huh:
