Knytt Stories Level Releases / Drakkanīs levels

10 years from the moment when I finished editing some of my KS levels. It is quite long time in human life. I accidentally bumped into DonDoli youtube videos (he is doing KS runs) and I got some kind of KS nostalgia feeling. So I said myself - hey, itīs time to play some of my older levels. And maybe correct / improve some grammar issues at least :d

UPDATE: 26.7.2016 - not sure if it is still largest, but I am pretty sure it is still one of the best :D

Knytt Stories - Custom Content / Searching for tileset

As Iam finishing my last level Iam searchin for one tileset, but cant find it, so the only hope are you.
It is "original" Night Game tileset, which was denied for some time, until NG game was released. Unfortunately I do not know author, neither levels in which it was used, but Iam sure some poeple from the old forum remember this issue. Please attach it to your reply, who will help me, will have his own cat in my level :)

About Nifflas' Website and Forum / Goodbye blue sky

Just wanna say my last and definitive goodbye to this forum. I decided to write few goodbye words, because after the time I have spent here I owe it
to few people. Or perhaps just owe it to myself.

First - since forum crashed I have strange feeling, that era of KS has ended. Not just because lots of work is lost forever (custom objects, many
many levels, some tilesets, gradients, ideas, previews etc etc...), but also because I do not trust, that new forum for KS is going to be finished
ever.
Second - I've been logged just few times, but it was enough for me. I do not want comment present mood in the forum (how topics are closed
etc...), but arrogance and behaviour of some people is really not friendly to me. Just my oppinion.
 
Third ? very simple reason ? I just do not have enough time to work at the level editing or cooperating on more levels.

And the last main reason - I know, that I have to move on from hours, days and weeks spent on editing the KS levels to something other.

Do not  understand me bad. It is notthing against somebody. Just my live moved different direction and I am abandoning this whole thing, because I feel, I have to.



Next part is about thanking. Perhaps said this few times before ? but Nifflas is at first place. Nothing more to say.

Next in the row, are all the people, with which I have been cooperating in the past, not only at the KS projects, but also playing F vs W game, or
everything else. Thanks, lots of amazing characters here !

Special thanks to Anyndel, for giving me the opportunity to work with him onto Gaia level, great experience !


Future, my unfinished work here

Who knows, what we can except from the future. But definitely not new levels from me. Soon, Ill finish edited version of Frozen Mountain 2, which
is my last huge project I am working at. Because I have no news from Anyndel and I do not want public any new Gaia version without him, I have decided to "copy" majority parts from "never published" Gaia version to the FM2 and edit it a lot. Still, some parts of Gaia are going to be lost forever, but no
regret for it, because I have feeling, that some things are just supposed to be lost forever.

Also apologize to all people who have wrote me PM with some offer for testing or cooperating at the editing and I do not response them. Sorry.

Oh well... thats all.

About Nifflas' Website and Forum / About removing KS submit levels board

This is just my oppinion about this.

Well, personally I really do NOT like idea of removing KS submitting thread.

1. I do not trust that Level archive will be so perfect as old Submit level forum was. Rating system etc etc. Who is creating this and deciding how it will be looking ?
I can only hope it will contain at least sorting by category, difficulty, level size etc...  Such projects were mentioned hundreds times before. And never finished.

2. When you are going to download some KS level in future, you will have to go for another web(KS archive) where you can browse for levels you want. I liked more idea when having all things together at one place (because I am mainly KS fan). So perhaps should be KS level archvie more connected with this forum ? Some links at least ?

3. I do not understand why level previews are here. Its illogical for me. Previews here and you must go for full versions to KS archive ? Suggest to move previews to KS archive too.

4. Just - why this whole category was removed from Niff forum ?

5. Just another suggestion - to delete all levels from KS archive and begin from a start. I mean - when KS archive will be "finished" somehow, what you want to do with all that levels ?  It's just bunch of levels together, and they are NOT sorted in any way, so how you want to sort them ? You do not know which difficulty or size they are.
