Well, I officially have to leave now
Sorry, guys.
Guess you'll have to figure out who you want as mod.
They can just keep the same format or change it a little, its really not that hard. They just need to type up whatever they feel like at the moment to make it different. If you need anything, you can always email me at (hope I'm allowed to do this!) bored2death65@hotmail
not sure when I'll answer, but you can give it a try. Just let me know who you are, as I might not recognize your email address!!! It was good knowing everyone!!!!

'Twas a shadowy, stormy day overhead. The town led Purple Pineapple to the shooting gallery, and watched as he was searched throughout his entire body, his identity discovered.

Purple Pineapple was found to be Mr. Strange. Here was his role:
Quote
You are Mr. Strange. You may randomly assign one of these random roles to another player, but only ONCE per role, and ONCE per day. This will be added to their current role. You win when any of these crazy roles succeed. Also, you MUST use me as a medium to convey these new roles.

Overpopulation Believer - You want to convince everybody in the game to go to the moon to live. You win when everybody agrees, or when your other role succeeds.

21st Century Hippy - You need to convince the mafia to not kill anybody, and the town to not lynch anybody, for one full day. You win when this happens, or when your other role has succeeded.

Jester - You win if you can totally derail the topic for 15 consecutive posts, only 2 of which can be yours.

Magician - You can do any random event you want, as long as it doesn't affect any mafia player. You win when the town wins.

SOME strange roles... if you have any others you'd like to use, pm me a description anytime, and I'll consider it.
.

Good luck town. The night ends asap, and then I probably won't be on again. This is all I have permission to finish up (yes, I'm being watched now...)
If the person targeted ain't protected by doc, you're all dead. Sorry!

About Nifflas' Website and Forum / Limited time left...
« on: November 10, 2009, 00:42:54 »
I hate to say this, but I'm sure you guys know it... I can't be as active anymore. In fact, within a matter of 2 weeks at the most, I won't be able to get on at all. I'm sorry, but things are happening, and my parents have decided that I'd better not spend time on this forum anymore, as "it takes up too much time. " I have no option, now, but to leave, but I should be able to sneak in and finish off hosting the mafia game, but DWYW 2... I don't have enough time (it usually takes me an hour to type it up!). I'm sorry...I'll really miss all you guys!

Alright, Budja has volunteered to take ckool5000's place for the remainder of the game, due to his inactivity. I've decided to leave it up to you guys; 2 votes wins.

Knytt Stories - Custom Content / Re: leathal custom object?
« on: November 08, 2009, 06:08:56 »
You COULD however, make a one path line, lay a custom object if front of a fire object, and have it shoot bullets at EXACTLY the same time the fire would shoot. You would still see the bullets shoot through your dead body, though XD

Two things, Razz: first, you need to wait for confirmation, SECOND: you need TWO things about them, not just one quote or one detail.

Meh, you're not SUPPOSED to use the search button... which is why you can also use stats from their profile.

Forum Games / Guess who!
« on: November 07, 2009, 04:29:16 »
An experimental game.

The rules are as follows:
One person posts details, quotes, etc. from another person, without revealing who they are.

Two details at least MUST be provided (ie, one quote, one detail, etc.).

After that, people must guess who it is. Whoever gets it right gets to start the next round. If they fail to do so within 72 hours, then the person who led the last round may go, and so on.  If nobody guesses, then the person adds more clues. YOU CANNOT GUESS YOURSELF!

No inappropriate details, etc.

I'll start.

Indeed, "how to draw manga" -books are often very misleading, because once again, they show the style of one, usually very mainstream manga artist. Learning from one-two such books is practically the same as copying other person's style and then calling it your own (though the mainstream western manga is basically just that). Therefore it's best to try to learn from as many different sources (if you want to draw exactly manga; overall, the best thing would of course be learning real anatomy and realistic style, which you could then use to create your own style of art), that'd teach you different way to approach things, and also give perspective to the style aswell.

My friend who started as a pretty untalented mainstream-"manga"-drawer had a pretty interesting way to learn drawing anatomically perfect people. In addition to just studying anatomy hard and drawing all the time, he started to form sort of a 'skeleton' that he used as a basis for every person he drew. That's quite usual thing to do, but it was very amusing to watch how the base skeleton evolved as he learned more; so he basically changed the outlook of this skeleton every time he noticed there's something anatomically wrong, and little by little he learned the relations and anatomics so well that he didn't need the skeleton anymore. Oh weh, why did I say this?

This person has six games on the forum right now...
