I've got this game, and I can definitely say I thoroughly had a blast in this.
Not unlike Smeagle, My platoon of friends and I made a basic group of sorts.
NESgamer190 (Me) As Faith. (Need to get the most out of healing my comrades, and I'm not fond of the healing beacons!)
LJ555 as Crash or Vegas. (Designated Technician)
Jetforcesoldier as Wildcat. (Main source of heavy firepower)
Can't remember final friend who played Wolfe.
If anyone needs an extra comrade, just notify =L4DA= NESgamer190 and I'll be right to it! I have to agree that Timor station was evil, even on easy mode, but I personally see first timers having a buttload of trouble once a certain enemy gets introduced. Those pesky parasites to be exacto.
I sure hope more official campaigns get added to Alien Swarm.
Hey NES, what is your Steam UserName? I still play this occaionally, and i'd like to have a few games with ya :D

Well, it's =L4DA= NESgamer190 for any future requests. To remain on topic of the game, there was also the sake of the hacking minigames in certain missions which was fun, yet challenging. Giving Hacking tips in a spoiler, just in case it's a sort of 'secret'.Just try to beat the machine before it logs your hacking attempt, and you'll see the challenge of solving puzzles fast, but a hint I can provide for the wire hacks if you are going for speed-hacking. If you don't touch anything, the security won't begin logging your attempt to hack. The computer hacks however, don't offer this mercy. Once the numbers start shuffling, you are on a time limit for a fast computer hack. Final note: Adrenaline will help with speedhacking in general a good deal, as it will slow down the 'timer'.
