At the end of the secret area is a hidden door (behind blocks) to crayon area. Completing this goes back to the tutorial. One of the screens in the tutorial you can jump on top of the ceiling (with a summoned item) to get the 26th coin.

There was nothing to jump from, so I figured the boxes had to hide something. Then, at the end getting teleported back to the tutorial, which is otherwise unreachable, set my alarm off that something was amiss.
Good thing you didn't hide a door up there instead, or even worse put boxes to block my path so it seems like a wall. Only a well timed bomb could get rid of them. Great... now I'm going to have to check every off screen wall to see if you did that.

I have too. This will happen if you grabbed all coins in the pre-build and then transfered your savegames to the final 1.0 build and picked up more coins. (this basically happens by picking up the same coin twice)

Oh, I see... I deleted the pre-release version before installing the final one, but the savegame actually remained there.. But anyway, who knows,
Certain you've explored the warp zone thoroughly? You'll get something which helps you do something new. Now find a place you've gone past where you couldn't get through without new stuff. Visit during the night (with new thingy ability)!

I have found that secret ability at the warp zone, but I don't even know if I am supposed to find all the coins to end the game. Is that the goal?

No I haven't, I'll try later. But the lack of any kind of guidance, story or goal was rather disorienting from the start. I assume that this has been adressed in the final version of the game and that there is a story/goal?

After exiting the first pyramid in Area 4 there its a door that leads to a room with a keylocked door but no key. you may use the flashlight mode in there.
