Title: Heal and Hurt (battle of the robots)
Post by: NESgamer190 on April 18, 2010, 00:21:23
Well, I'm surprised about the lack of this kind of game, and figured that I should end the drought of this lack of game.
The rules of this is rather simple:
1:  All contestants start out with 10 HP
2:  Heals heal for 1 HP
3:  Hurts damage for 2 HP
4:  If a contestant hits 0 or less (Yes, negatives exist people), the contestant is considered dead, and can't be healed under normal circumstances.
5:  Last contestant standing WINS this simplistic contest.
6:  Random events can happen, but what effects occur, even I won't know.
7:  HP limit for contestants will be 20 HP.
8:  You are only allowed to vote your heal and your hurt ONCE per day.  (I.E. You can heal only for day 1, Hurt only for day 1, or both.)
9:  Anything I missed?  Let me know!

Alive creatures in bank 13 (robots):

Do you sign up for this, or what?
If so, then I'm in.

Um... Actually, this is vote-based battling. The bank 13 creatures from KS fight and y'all decide what they do.

Thank you straightflame for explaining.
As for Razzorman's question:  ANYONE can join in at (almost) any time.  (Reason for almost is that you are not to join after the game is done, but I digress.)
I think it's off topic:  I am actually surprised that nobody has heard of heal and hurt.  with that sort of reaction however, I'd have to do my best to bite my tongue.  (For the game might actually get locked due to confusion, or insufficient rules.)
Anywho, A sign up isn't really required, and you won't get 'disqualified' if you forget several days in a row.  (All you'd be doing is prolonging the game slightly.)

I'm still not sure how this is played or whether or not players sign up. Nothing on google either. :/

I would recommend increasing the hurt damage to at least 3 to decrease the game time. It will take very long otherwise.

Okay, since anyone can jump in anytime and no one seems to be willing to sign up right now probably because it's buried under everything else and stuff... let's tart this!
Hurt: Object 5
Heal: Objact 13

The reason why there aren't such games played, is because it is a spammy game in nature without deep meaning. You randomly vote "objects" to their death or resurrect them by votecasting. This can lead to an eternal topic and people just will keep replying to it (thus its spammy)

I therefor lock this topic.
