Title: KS level of the month?
Post by: Dynamite on June 07, 2009, 08:20:57
I always keep my posts short and simple:

Can we have some sort of event held every month which allows us to vote on levels posted in the Knytt Level release board (http://nifflas.ni2.se/forum/index.php?board=39.0)?

We can obviously only vote on levels that have been posted on that month, and not levels that have been posted ages ago. I would be more then glad to do this event.  :D

I'll need to create a poll in the post listing every level that has been uploaded on the month and give a download link for users to play and vote on.

So what do you guys think?

I think this is the sort of thing that'd be a lot easier to do once the archive is updated. (I mean like if there's a rating system dealy it'd be easy to have "best rated level this week/month/whatever".)

Doing it now would be awkward, especially since there aren't many new levels being released.

A "Greatest Existing Level" would be excellent to see as well.
Though it would be better off in the archive, as goog said.

I agree with goog, it would be much better as a feature on the archive. It's a good idea though.

Well, presumably the level would need to be new to be eligible. But since this doesn't exist and therefore has no ruleset, I say let it win.
