Okay, so I've decided to turn this result of my "random inspiration technique" (see: http://nifflas.lpchip.nl/index.php?topic=2786.msg31954) into a small exercise for myself on how to make challenge levels. Emphasis on "small".
Only two screens so far, one of which you find below.

Strange result, but that can turn into an original challenge :)

Very original :)

This looks nice, hope it turns out well!
Also, being more interested in environments, I tried such exercises too, only I don't think I've ever succeeded at making a decent challenge level. :S

Hey, nobody says this will be a *decent* challenge level! ;-)

Oops, didn't realize I sounded kind of discouraging there. Sorry! Here's a hedgehog to help you with the level, then: :hedgehog:
:)

Oh, don't worry, I didn't take it that way! Nice hedgehog, though.

So um, I know you're busy IRL and working on Falling Water, but I just wanted to check if you're still planning to release it at some point. Because it looks nice :)

Yeah, still working on this. It's... something like five screens now, I think. It won't become much larger, probably under ten screens. The main thing I've learned from it so far is that I really suck at creating challenges. *g*

I like this kind of tile-puke-mosh style, it is really interesting and I enjoyd Yohjis' levels with this style. good luck, can't wait.
