A slow summer at work and I've started playing Knytt Stories again.  I'd forgotten how much I love this little game!

I think I need a little help.  Searching for the glowing mushrooms in the crater and seem to be at a dead end.  Should I have already found the umbrella?  I don't have it and can't seem to progress any farther.  I'll keep searching, I suspect I either made a big mistake, or I'm missing something obvious!

EDIT:  HA!  The power of posting.  Found it, very creative!

Wow!  Just played through Chapter 1 and I couldn't have enjoyed it more!  I've been playing Knytt Stories for years as it's the perfect relaxing gaming experience for an old guy that grew up on simpler games in the original NES and SNES era.  Knytt Underground is basically perfection for me.  So enjoyable!

I like to play games windowed rather than full screen and encountered a situation multiple times where the game froze on me and it took a few clicks on the window to unfreeze the game.  Don't know if its just me or if there might be a glitch.  Regardless on Fullscreen mode the game ran flawlessly. 

10/10 for me!!

I'm trying to install this in Ego's mod and I keep getting a file corrupt error.  I deleted the original "world" folder for one of the previous versions and the error is still occurring.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Okay, I've gotten a bit farther into this and I have to ask, have you actually played this through as it's uploaded???  The level has potential, but the complete and total lack of save points make this one of the more infuriating levels I've ever played.  You've got complete sections between cutscenes without a save point.  I've counted upwards of 20+ screens with difficult/unpredictable enemies without a save point.  

It's like you tested this just a couple screens at a time.  I'm a relatively skilled player, lunatic isn't my thing, but the lack of save points puts this firmly in the very hard category for me.

>EDIT:  Just jumped into the editor to confirm.  Aside from the shifts, do you only have one save point?

An extra save point here and there would make this a much more enjoyable level.  Having trouble after the double jump powerup.

Fun little level.  I'm impressed it's your first because it's relatively bug free, has nice challenges and a cool little story.  I also appreciate that you did the best you could and uploaded it...sadly the "KS Preview" forum sees a lot more action than the "KS Releases" forum.

I played it, tons of potential but it's pretty short right?  Got the two power ups you mentioned and also was able to get the red key on my first attempt.  Definitely a demo with a cool storyline that i'd love to explore more.

Am I missing something?  Is there more to this level or is it just a demo???  Keep going regardless!

Thanks GF!  I've been working through this one all day.  This is a very impressive level even with the numerous glitches.  If the bugs were fixed and a little story was added this would be one of the top new levels I've played in the last year.  Still a very fun time!

I'd love to see another epic level from you talps!  I downloaded this level when I was pretty new to playing knytt stories and wasn't able to complete it.  About a month ago I started playing from the beginning and absolutely loved it!  I'm definitely planning on playing this one again!

Thanks for redoing the upload.  I really enjoyed this one.  There were a handful of bugs but nothing that made the game unplayable.
