I haven't finished it yet, but an interesting idea for a custom level is to make the player navigate the course with two avatars, who both do exactly the same thing... It sure makes the game harder!
-
Sorry for being blunt here, but I don't understand what you're saying here.
Care to explain it a bit more?

I think he meant something like this:

Unfortunaly, or at least in my computer, this is kind of imposible because when one of the marios fall and land the other falling velocity is reduced :(. and considered as a "big" jump, ergo reset, or dead, or whatever you call that fuzzy screen. (This is hard to explain)
-
Actually impossible with Firecat's screen, but you might be able to create such a level..
-
alternatively multiplayer support is an option
-
If the platforms are vers similar, It works, but if you land and the other dosn't, *dead*
-
Exactly. As a matter of fact there's no point. You cannot touch walls separately. You cannot land separately. You must jump simultaneously. All in all, identical levels. Perhaps the only thing that could set them apart is enemies.
-
The idea is quite cool, but it would be rather hard to implement, at least for me. Also I'm not sure if it would really support the main idea.
-
Hmm... point taken... Ill load up the one im working on some time this weekend - please note, ONLY the first level has the effect, so you'll probably have to open it via the editor, unless you can be bothered doing the entire thing just to get to it (dunno if its even possible at moment)
-
Cool! :)

*accidently deletes level instead of the complete duddo he ment to...
ARRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!! >( >( >( >( >( >( >( >( >(
*sigh...
I dont have the time or energy to re-make it, so you'll have to experiment yourselves.
Personally I found that if you made the length of the platforms SLIGHTLY different or put certain coins/enemies in hard places, it becomes almost a perfect jumping level.
