I've started the download, and since I have a 10 mbit up connection, I'll continue to seed this for a while. :)I seriously have no idea why.
EDIT: I still have 0%, so we'll have to wait for TheYeIIowDuck to seed some more :)
Just checked. I'm currently seeding. Expect nice download speeds of approx. 300 kB/s or maybe higher, depending on the time of the day. (I raise the speeds at nights since I'm not using my connection then; goes up to 750kB/s :) )So...
hm, didn't you plan to host goog's big level collection at some point? And couldn't you just host this one (as a non-torrent, I mean) as well? Just wondering.Oh I am, but he never uploaded it to me. I'm still waiting for him to upload it. I PMmed him a few times now, but I get no response and no files on my ftp either. His level collection definitely is something that possibly has all this too, so once I have googs, I'm not sure if I also should be seeding this one, but I suppose it doesn't really matter. I could always update googs collection with this if something is missing, but lets decide about that when I actually get googoogjoob's level collection.
Just ensure you reach the 2.0 u/d ratio and you can stop after that. :)Just checked. I'm currently seeding. Should I turn of the "initial seeding" option now?
I haven't talked to him in a long while either, so I wouldn't necessarily expect him to still be (particularly) active/interested in anything around here/to do it. 9_9hm, didn't you plan to host goog's big level collection at some point? This torrent is as old as this topic and the torrent hasn't been updated since. So its possible a level got updated after that. Then again, its likely that it didn't got updated.Won't changing a file break the torrent and make it impossible to download said file?

never mind, invalid link :/
I've installed Vuze and I'm going to download (and seed after that).
edit: Im downloading the levels with speed 10kB/sec . Yeeeach... It will be a looooooong downloading :moody:. There is one seeder. Yeach...
If I remember rightly, it's possible to get trapped in the wrong place without all the powerups you need to continue in Change the view! I can't give you any good advice, though, as it was a couple of years ago I last played it :/
So... why is this a torrent?
There has to be a trick to it, I just have no idea what it might be.
I think the trick, such as it is, is that the jump is just barely within what's possible to accomplish; double-jump only at the peak of the first jump, open the umbrella only at the peak of the second and then continue to hold S the entire time the umbrella is open. I'm sorry I can't offer you anything more helpful than that.
Thankyou, I'm glad I was able to help in the end :)
That trick with the umbrella isn't particularly well documented; I'm pretty sure I only learnt about it myself on the forum, though there is at least one level that mentions it.
Ok, I usually don't mess with torrents as I have a slow internet connection anyway, but I've been itching for epic knytt levels. What torrent client would you guys suggest, and are any of you seeding this right now?
I use uTorrent. I think its the best client, although their newest version is different from their previous versions, and I don't need the extra functionality, so I use an older version, but still the newest version is a good version.
So, I guess I've misunderstood the thread name. I thought these were all suppose to be epic sized levels, but most are medium at most. Or have I misunderstood the word epic?

I don't love organizing things...I'm sorry if I upset you. I was being sarcastic there, but I did genuinely think you liked order. I felt that my question about the dump's contents prompted you to undertake this enormous task which makes you, "lose the will to live," but I was satisfied with your first response to my question, and I rather that a cute girl in Persian clothing keeps her will to live. In the future, I resolve not to jump to conclusions about people. :P2
It didn't occur to me that anyone would voluntarily be using the WaDF theme. We have our own unofficial club (http://nifflas.lpchip.nl/index.php?topic=3061.0)! I'm not an official unofficial member though.
Thanks for sharing, Widget. In the case of Bass's Let me take you to the beach! there isn't a flawed version, as such. Both copies are identical, the only difference being in the names of the folders. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.
Also, it looks like I've only played the flawed version of Let me take you to the beach! I'll have to check out the other one.
It was a perfectly reasonable assumption given the information available to you; I'm sorry for unloading on you to such an extent. Your question was one of the contributing factors to my choosing this particular project but not the reason I'm sinking time into a near-pointless task in general (were it not this, it would be something else) and the comment on "losing the will to live" is just a common figure of speech here.I don't love organizing things...I'm sorry if I upset you. That comment of mine was an unjustified, passive-aggressive parting shot; my apologies. As has probably become all too apparent, you unwittingly touched a bit of a nerve there  I'll have a look into the colour tags, though the reason for the rather limited pallete I picked from was to add definition without having an overly unsightly colour-scheme. I might have to either make separate copies for each theme or scrap all the colour-coding entirely, neither of which is truly satisfactory with the density of information involved. It didn't occur to me that anyone would voluntarily be using the WaDF theme. We have our own unofficial club (http://nifflas.lpchip.nl/index.php?topic=3061.0)! I do find most of your lists quite helpful and I appreciate your efforts. :)
[04\08\13]: Given that TheYeIIowDuck hasn't logged on for half a year, would anyone object if I created a new version of this thread? (something like an Epic Old Knytt Stories Levels Dump Redux) In addition to having the content lists readily apparent and accessible, I could add a brief introduction explaining the use of .torrent files (with a more detailed guide in a spoiler, should that prove necessary). I would, of course, make sure to credit TheYeIIowDuck with all the work on the .torrent (and include links to the OT (http://nifflas.lpchip.nl/index.php?topic=5014.0)) and the respective authors with all the levels.
