During winter every year the sun is positioned in a very fine-looking manner so I can enjoy the sunrise from the porch of my house. One morning I decided to make one of these videos which there probably exists quite a large number of already, but how many of them are combined with the hearing pleasure of Mattebos Mandolin? ;)

As it says in the title, I totally got my own poster of the vast world that is Knytt Underground! I made it through this website, http://www.zazzle.com/. Big thanks to forum user KhanFusion who posted the image a while ago. Now the poster rests comfortably on my wall :)

Indye or maybe Ljus. They are so epic and fun to play the drums to.

I'm trying to get this coin in 35,11 but I'm completely tapped of ideas. What's the best way to get this goddamn coin?!

Knytt Underground / Knytt Underground Drum Covers (Watch)
« on: September 10, 2013, 15:29:36 »
I've been listening a whole lot to the soundtrack these past few weeks. A little too much almost. Adding drums to video game music is something I enjoy doing from time to time. I sat down with the soundtrack to this awesome game and worked out a couple of beats which I've now started making videos out of.

In the first part of my KU Drum Covers I play The Web, The Golden Bird, Scales of Zordium and Indye. Amazing tracks if you ask me. Also check out one of my older videos in which I do a piano cover of Waterfall Cave from Knytt Stories!

Knytt Underground / Re: The Print Screen Map Project

I've ceased construction of the main map of chapter 3 since KhanFusion already had done exactly what I was going to do, but instead I've started to develop more in-depth maps with extra details, using his work.

I'm working on adding a coordinate-system for chapter 3, using green lines to highlight secret paths and yellow lines for walls that will disappear later due to earthquakes, icons for Bell Guard items, coins and other artifacts and making separate files for the other maps instead of stacking them all in one image.

I'm also replacing some of the dark lit areas in KhanFusion's map with in-game footage, where Mi lights up the place she's standing in, making it slightly easier to get an idea of the layout of the room.

Knytt Underground / The Print Screen Map Project
« on: September 01, 2013, 23:48:21 »
I have spent large amounts of time this summer constructing the ultimate map for this game. I'm currently halfway through chapter 3 and it's looking pretty good so far. I'm print-screening each room from the map, making them 50% their original size and putting them next to each other in a way that changes the perspective of the game all together. I'm also doing this with areas outside the map (Figure Space, path to earthquake trigger), the menu, credits and the extra chapters.

Some areas like the Infinite Darkness and other dark areas don't benefit much from this since you can't see anything anyway, but i wanted to do this because it really changes the way you look at the game. While putting together the map I'm also marking the hidden paths between rooms and such with green lines.

Because of the massive size of the entire map I've divided it into six smaller parts. One of these parts, the lower right one, I recently finished. I've put it up here for you to enjoy, sorta as an appetizer  ;)

Knytt Underground / What are your favourite rooms?
« on: August 15, 2013, 12:29:22 »
I'm a big fan of most of Nifflas' games. It's the music and the atmosphere that makes them especially good. With KU I think Nifflas has reached a milestone in his creativity. There are SO many beautiful and mysterious rooms to explore. Some of them stand out to others. Here are two rooms I really like.

26,27: The summit of a strange tower with a divine light hovering above it. Really gets your curiosity going  :)

32,15: On the way to Fairy Springs. This room has a lot of beautiful nature scenery, flowing water and feels very soothing to the soul :^^:

What rooms do you like and why? Post your favourite scenery here and share it with us!
