[mod]tiny text removed, as per the Official Forum Rules.[/mod]
D: I've seen mods use text that tiny before. <_<
-
I figure that 6pt is the smallest readable text.
I think its weird that its possible too make tiny text since its agenst the rules (for some odd reason).
Why just not remove tiny text?
-
The rules state that you're not supposed to make text unreadable on purpose, for example by giving it a size equal or less than 6px. So that'd mean the smallest readable text is 7 pixels (not everyone here has perfect eyes X)).
It's generally possible to make text that small because it's only either "allow text sizes to be changed" or "don't allow". The latter isn't chosen, though, because you couldn't use bigger text then, in announcements for example.
-
Well, I'm just saying, why can mods use size 6 text when regular users can't? And I didn't make it unreadable on purpose, I did it to simulate whispering to myself. X)
-
Mods don't use a size of 6pt either. Please tell me where you've seen that, so we can tell the person to watch carefully.

What about font rules?

I...can't quite remember, but I think it was Paula. *banned* X)
Semi-ninja'd by Evil. It said a new reply was posted right as I clicked "edit."

I highly doubt that too.
The only thing I can think of that has happened, is that a mod edit got quoted like in the opening post. A quote makes the font smaller.

Oh cmon, this is silly <_<
And by what you say, "not everyone has great eyes", Paula. Someone can just select the text and enlarge it if they want to see it that badly. :I
[mod]indeed, it's not[/mod]
-
it's not silly. well, continuing this discussion is silly, that'd be true.
it's not about "wanting to see that badly". If you don't want text to be readable at first glance, either don't write it or use the spoiler tag.
