Yeah, I'm going with Razzorman on this one, bro.
It doesn't look that good, sorry.
It just looks to bland and random. Pieces are place in random places. Sorry.
Though, it might still be fun top play...

I can assure you that none of the design in this level is random. However, I apreciate your input and you are allowed your own opinion of course. :)

The reason Ive used the word "teaser" is that it is just that: Not far enough into the process to make it a beta, so its merely a package to "tease" or pickque the interest of the player. I would not feel any better calling it a beta, since it is nowhere near that format. Still needs a bit more

As for a certain lack of updates: I want to get something substantial done before I make it a beta :) Also, as to not give away the entire level in screenshots, Ive kept the new area I am working on kinda secret..

Ill post a few screens to show just a bit of progress when I get home again

quick question: Which tileste did you use for that first screen? It looks suspiciously a lot like either "the cave and the machine" or my own "dark cavern (or whatever i named it" :) Just curious of course

Looks really great. Youve certainly got the tone, and mood right in those pictures, at least from what we can see. I like the atmosphere and how the backgrounds adds to the scenes : ) Good job so far, keep it up

Thanks you Mr Affu ! It really help me :)

Youre welcome ;) I find looking at Nifflas' levels are really help full when designing backgrounds. Looking at what he does, and trying to figure out why it works

Keep up the good work  C)

I really like your concept
Should be very interesting to see

Also, your screens looks quite good. One thing, if I have to be a bit criticive, is you could try and ad some tiles to fill in the backgrounds rather than relying on the gradient. I think, per exapmle, a few hills in the background in the village would look really great.
But thats of course just my opinion.
Anyways, great work, and Im looking forward to seeing the finished level. Should be interesting   :)

Honestly, I think this looks terrible. Sorry. :S

All fine : ) one is allowed his own opinions. If you would, i would like to hear what you think looks terrible? Whit a mind on eventually improving it. Of course if you think there is any saving it at all  X-P
All feedback is apreciated, even criticism

@Saturneo and Saturneo: PM on the way

@@BlackM.1: Thanks ^^ I am striving for a simplistic aproach to the level.

@@@Purple Pineapple: Indeed xD

Hi guys

Ive started work on what I see as a small project.
The goal is to create a compact, yet challenging, small level, ending up with something a bit like "the skyflower"

So far Ive got a few screens done, and thought Id post a couple of it here, for you to see.

In the future I might need one or two persons to run it trough and test for bugs, and/or unintentional shortcuts I might have missed, so if anyone would be interested, please PM me

~Mr_Affu

( I know its not very grafically dasling, but I am trying for something simple.. at least for now.  :P2)
