Title: [Shump]Warning Forever
Post by: victor12 on February 08, 2011, 17:23:26
Type:
Warning Forever is a shooter when you fight only the boss... in reverse.

Description:
Now, before you get me wrong, you don't play as the boss. But what you do when you encounter one in shumps? You learn his pattern and conquer him. Now, in this game, the boss learns YOUR pattern and tries to conquer YOU. That's what is this game's twist. The ship you're fighting upgrades yourself that it blocks your strategy. If you attack the front, the next enemy will have more parts on the front. If you die by a weapon (let's say by a rocket) the next one will have more rocket weapons.
The game starts with a timer of 180 seconds, each time you complete a level you get extra 30 seconds, and if you die you lose 20 seconds. When the timer reaches zero, it's game over.
There are four modes:normal(the one i explained before), a 3 ships mode(you have 3 lives and you get another one every 100 parts you destroy, no timer), a sudden death mode (one life and no extra ones, no timer) and a 5 minutes mode (300 seconds on the timer, no extra/lost seconds). you can set a custom one too.

Aha!~ Fantastic game, this. Inspiration for Fraxy, if I recall correctly.

I recommend this game for anyone seeking a nice challenging bossrush.

Its a nice game indeed. Its funny how determining your strategy is so crucial in many ways.

Not only will you have to be unpredictable, if you choose the same locations, it will expand into that direction in which you will get stuck at some point.
