Are these available for use?

the houses in the 'cydonia' tileset are very well done.
some of the others could do with some more detail/shading, though.

These tilesets are of very mixed quality.

For instance, the buildings in Cydonia are really great (except for the clock), whereas the ground is very unappealing.

I would've spent more time on making the tilesets consistent in design and quality, and less on just making a lot of tilesets, as it seems a couple of these could have been really great as opposed to just pretty good.

@ Bored2death: Yes, but read the warning for 75m.
@ Koromi: The houses were done by Oebchen.
@ minmay:  :/ Well, I wanted the ground to look kinda like Mars. Look on Muse's "Black Holes and Revelations" album and you'll see what I mean.

I like them. Cydonia was fun, I like that song "Knights of Cydonia".

@ Teper: I made that for someone. Forgot who, though. :/
@ Dandelion: I suppose I could post them. Later, though. I'm lazy. X)

You should add outlines. Else you can make skeletons, collapsed wooden ceilings, collapsed stone mounds, doors... Do you want it to be medieval like, or more "ancient temple" like?

Of course, I haven't seen it in use.

@ Teper: Ancient temple. Think of the Ruins level from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Or the Dry Dry Ruins track from Mario Kart Wii.
@ Purple: I meant a picture of a temple you would like to show me for reference. :P

I mean I haven't seen it properly used in a level, so I can't judge what it looks like.

What do you mean by that? The ruins look good so far. Maybe you could add some pillars and smashed statues.

Ah, pillars and statues. :) I suppose I could do that. *adds to "To Do" list*

BUMP. New tileset in progress. I think I'm also losing interest in the Ruins one. :/

Why is not the penultimate tileset asterisked?

Penultimate is a word I am not familiar with, but I assume you mean the first SM64 tileset. I'll asterisk that one. :P

Anyway, what do you think of the new tileset?

pē?nul'ti?măte, a.    1. Next to the last. 2. of the penult.

pē?nul'ti?măte, n. the penult

Ontopic: the newer SM64 tileset looks rather nice in comparison. Perhaps because it doesn't have the same ground.

xD I'm thinking about adding the basement on to this tileset. :/ Should I?

I haven't played much SM64, but if you want it to be all-encompassing, then yes.

Aha, so you made the bee and frog COs Sal used in Mashu Prapa! Those are really nice. The bouncers look good, too, I might have to grab those for one of my levels.

Also the Pumpkinbot CO is freakin' adorable. Put it with that creepy scarecrow and you've got the seed for a Halloween-themed level...

Can never have enough bouncers! :D Unless they're of the deadly variety. :P

You should really do a level with your tilesets.
Hmm, maybe. Well, I have used a lot of these tilesets. Now I need an arcade tileset to use with 75m.  :shifty:
