The boss is easy, stop complaining. Just make sure you level everything to 5 and get all skills.
Indeed, isnt that hard after you have Force,Regen and Doublejump skills.
This was fun, but the ending sequence came out of nowhere. :/
I never saw a ending that twisted since...

I guess they're complaining about the first (few) encounter(s): there's no way you're going to make it right away, and facing such an overwhelming opponent with no warning and with such a penalty for losing... it can put people off. I liked the idea once I realized the penalty wasn't all that bad.

This game already has a sequel in development, so in the end everything might turn out to be alright.
I found a better explanation for the boss damaging thingy:
It may be difficult at first, but it will get easier as you proceed. The enemy may sometimes be idle, to summon these weird boulders. That is when you should recover. Once the boulders start to fall down, there is a way to notice that they are, then you should lure the enemy under a boulder. If it hits him, he will disappear, regen, and his power source will appear. As you see its shape, you may know what to do. Be careful, because the enemy can level up too.
