Great, I've kinda wanted to have a thread like this. :)
You can't find all NDS homebrew on your own. And I hope someone has found something I haven't been around yet.
And on a short notice if someone consider getting a homebrew device. Apart from a CycloDS Evolution I've also got a Datel Max Media Player 4GB. DON'T EVER BUY THAT!! I was clueless and stupid when I bought it. :S
@wetako, will you update the first poste with the homebrew people list?
In any case, here's a list of the homebrew I've got running on my CycloDS Evolution card.

http://preussie.miscstuff.de/ds/?page_id=5 (http://preussie.miscstuff.de/ds/?page_id=5)
AcChen is a simple to learn ?find the matching tile? game. It is more Arcade-Style than MahJongg. It contains a lot of different levels. Each level takes only a couple of minutes to finish.

Actual developer blog http://www.boive.fr/Jeux/Homebrews-DS/ (http://www.boive.fr/Jeux/Homebrews-DS/) (in French)
One of the participants in this years Neo Spring Coding Compo. It's pretty good.
Brix DS is a physics-based puzzle game. It's quite simple: use the stylus to remove all the gray blocks so that you can safely dispose of the bomb.
Cave Story DS - demo
(http://gbatemp.net/news/cavestoryds_2.gif)
http://cavestory.ravenworks.ca/csds-npcs.nds (http://cavestory.ravenworks.ca/csds-npcs.nds) (the actual file)
This was a project running some years back. A few demos was released and this should be the latest from early summer 2007. The project was stopped due to Pixel (the original Cave Story creator) asking fan projects and ports to be hold due to the licensing which took place when Cave Story for Wii was planned. This is what I've been able to gather from what little is mentioned around the web.
IMO, Cave Story fits the DS way better than the Wii. At least it looks awesome. It would've been awesome. Have a look and feel sad it wasn't completed.

No comment... >.<'' just happened to be here. For some reason... It's not as bad as the name imply.
This one entered the Neo Spring Coding Compo 2008.
Lone Wolf DS
(http://fromthegutter.org/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/lonewolfds-flight-inventory.png)
http://www.projectaon.org/staff/frederic/index.php (http://www.projectaon.org/staff/frederic/index.php)
This is without a doubt one of the best homebrew games out there. The quality in general is top notch and graphically it's very stylish.
Lone Wolf is originally a series of books and Lone Wolf DS is a port of the books to the DS. You play the game by reading the books and decide where to go and what to do based on your chosen abilities, items and whatnot. The DS gives the books a great flow and you don't have to keep all your items listed on papers next to you.
Currently 2 books have been ported to the DS and you can start your journey in the first book and load your items and abilities from the ending of book #1 to book #2.
This is not illegal. If in doubt check out the website and Project Aon in general.

http://www.glubiesplanet.com/ (http://www.glubiesplanet.com/) (game homepage)
This one is also part of the Neo Spring Coding Compo 2009.
The Campaign mode of Glubies Planet is a mix between action and reflexion. The principle is simple, in each level un defined number of glubies must reach the exit. So you have to cross the level, find some objects and avoid the traps. The reflexion phase allows you to analyse the level, to drop and oriant objects et solve puzzles and enigmas. No time for thinking during the action phase, you must control these stupid glubies with your stylus, using the dropped objects and not falling into the deadly traps
GrowRPG2

I don't know if this has got it's own website or whatever you do in the game. I downloaded it the other day and played it once, but it made no sense to me. It's supposed to be based on some flash game called Grow or something. The graphics are pretty, though.
Legion

http://jvteamds.free.fr/Legion/ (http://jvteamds.free.fr/Legion/)
A game entered for the Neo Summer Coding Compo 2008. Really great 3d for a homebrew game and for a DS game in general.
Legion is a top-view 3D shooter which was designed to take full advantage of the DS's unique features. It has a full solo "campaign", with a very detailed backstory as well as an online multiplayer mode which can be played with up to three other players. (4 player games)
I haven't tried the online features... can't say anything about those.
LemmingsDS
(http://www.mrdictionary.net/lemmings/wp-content/uploads/2006/12/ingame-1.png)
http://www.mrdictionary.net/lemmings/ (http://www.mrdictionary.net/lemmings/)
Need I say anymore? The original lemmings game ported for DS. This is beyond awesome. A must for any lemmings fan and everyone else of course X-P.
MegaETk-TD
(http://img.qj.net/uploads/articles_module/61541/Megaetk2.png)
http://nintendo-scene.com/1055 (http://nintendo-scene.com/1055)
Looks Megaman-like. Don't know what else to say. It's running really well. Haven't played it much, though.
Don't know much about this project...
Natura No Story
(http://www.univers-game.com/Images/images_jeux/Natura%20No%20Story_1.png)
http://www.neoflash.com/forum/index.php?topic=5518.0 (http://www.neoflash.com/forum/index.php?topic=5518.0)
Yet another Neo Spring Coding Compo 2009 game.
Features some rather cute graphic and a really well done gameplay. Give it a try. It's worth it. :)
Natura No Story is a platform game with original graphics and a dynamic gameplay.
In this demo, you can play the first 8 levels of the game.
OpenTyrian
(http://opentyrian.googlecode.com/svn/wiki/opentyrian_torm.png)
http://code.google.com/p/opentyrian/ (http://code.google.com/p/opentyrian/)
A port of the old DOS-game of the same name (Tyrian). Oh, I played this lots with my cousin when I was younger.
OpenTyrian is a port of the DOS shoot-em-up Tyrian. Jason Emery generously gave the OpenTyrian developers a copy of the Tyrian 2.1 source code, which has since been ported from Turbo Pascal to C. The port uses SDL, making it easily cross-platform.
Tyrian is an arcade-style vertical scrolling shooter. The story is set in 20,031 where you play as Trent Hawkins, a skilled fighter-pilot employed to fight Microsol and save the galaxy.
Quake DS & Quake 2 DS
(http://quake.drunkencoders.com/images/example.jpg)(http://quake.drunkencoders.com/q2/images/right_image.jpg)
http://quake.drunkencoders.com/ (http://quake.drunkencoders.com/)
Quake and Quake2 ported for the DS. Note that Quake2 requires additional RAM to run. Without a RAM expansion you will not be able to run it.
Runs fairly good and is a lot easier to control than you'd think. Remember to edit the control setting when you load it up the first time.
ScummVM
http://www.scummvm.org/ (http://www.scummvm.org/)
ScummVM is a program which allows you to run certain classic graphical point-and-click adventure games, provided you already have their data files. The clever part about this: ScummVM just replaces the executables shipped with the games, allowing you to play them on systems for which they were never designed!
Few things are as epic as The Secret of Monkey Island on a DS.

StarLite - demo
(http://www.nbrew.nl/images/starlite01.gif)
http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=86314 (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=86314)
A demo of a StarCraft port for DS. A project which was begun but closed again because of legal reasons. The demo is still to be found out there. v0.03 is the last version published I suppose. It had great possibilities just like Cave Story. So sad to see great games flourish and vanish.
Still Alive DS
(http://gbatemp.net/screenshots/%5B2533%5DStillAliveDS.png)
http://stillaliveds.free.fr/index.php (http://stillaliveds.free.fr/index.php)
Portal like game for the DS.
StillAliveDS takes its name from the ending song of Portal : "Still Alive" by Jonathan Coulton. It features various elements from the original game such as portal gun (of course!), turrets, crates and energy balls.
You can play a simple game where you have to finish the levels included in the homebrew or you can play custom levels you made with the map editor.
With the help of this website, you can also share your creations and download maps directly from you Nintendo DS !
SupaplexDS
(http://ryouarashi.ry.funpic.de/supaplexds2.png)
http://forum.palib.info/index.php?topic=6491.0 (http://forum.palib.info/index.php?topic=6491.0)
Based on an old Amiga game, appearently? I remember playing this on my grandparents computer. :)
Take the eggs!
http://files-ds-scene.net/take_the_eggs/ (http://files-ds-scene.net/take_the_eggs/)
Motteke Tamago with Ganbare! Kamonohashi is one of those little but enjoyable game. Your goal is to go after the eggs, collect them, let them hatch and bring back your kids to your house (and only yours if you want to get points). In the 1P mode, which is the adventure mode, you play against 3 other COM players. This mode is a little bit difficult (or more challenging) as you need to score more than the 3 other players together, being the one with the most points is not enough.
Tower Defense
(http://ndswtd.files.wordpress.com/2007/03/screenshot_ingame3.jpg)
http://ndswtd.wordpress.com/ (http://ndswtd.wordpress.com/)
Warcraft III Tower Defense like game for the DS.
Wee!DS2
(http://tapsa.bitmagick.com/nds/files/wheeds/screen1.jpg)
http://tapsa.bitmagick.com/nds/projects.php?subaction=showfull&id=1187598749&archive=&start_from=&ucat=2& (http://tapsa.bitmagick.com/nds/projects.php?subaction=showfull&id=1187598749&archive=&start_from=&ucat=2&)
Race with your spaceship on the surface of an alien planet. Use boosters and weapons to beat your opponents and unlock new race tracks. If you have a motion card, you can control the ship by turning the DS.
The game should have an unlimited amount of levels since a new one is randomly generated when you beat a track.
World of sand

Need I say anymore?
----
Not to mention KSDS and a few aplications. I'll probably post those later.
Okay, I won GrowRPG now. :/ The DS port can't handle it.
I'm given "wrong score" every time.
I will, but I didn't plan to add games. I wanted to focus on creativity-related applications - otherwise the mainpost would become too long and complex. Still, if you have great homebrew games to present here: Post them! I have far to few since my favourite Homebrewblog is a bit... inactive at the moment :S
I see. That wasn't implied though.
Let's see, I've got less creative stuff I guess.
Animanatee
(http://modchips.de/animanatee_tools.png)
http://deku.gbadev.org/program.html (http://deku.gbadev.org/program.html)
An animation program for DS. Inspired by Colors!, Mario Paint, and an old DOS program called Animagican.
Dunno how creative this is, but to some extend I guess it goes...
Pocket Physics
(http://www.pdroms.de/media/upload/images/news/20080104_Pocket_Physics_v0.2_(NDS_misc).png)
http://tobw.net/index.php?cat_id=3&project=Pocket+Physics (http://tobw.net/index.php?cat_id=3&project=Pocket+Physics)
Ever played Crayon Physics?
Not really creative, but very practically...
Eigenmath
(http://eigenmatds.sourceforge.net/img/natural.bmp)(http://eigenmatds.sourceforge.net/img/graph.bmp)
http://eigenmatds.sourceforge.net/ (http://eigenmatds.sourceforge.net/)
CAS-like calculator for the DS
Rest of the creative stuff is already mentioned.. :O
